The following is the listing of different pages/research/info etc.

I will be putting information up that you can access, but are not officially on the website. For right now they won’t be individually password protected. If we decide to keep any of them for later in the program we can password protect them.

Initial notes:

  • Please use the DT online chat to connect with me. We can definitely use iMessage, email, etc., but I really need to make sure that I am up to speed with it.

  • The website currently has a lot more pages that you can look around and find than will be the case when we open the site to the public.

  • There are several links near the bottom section of the page that we will be using quite a bit - Coordinate is the main one for right now. Of course you can go to the YouTube Channel from there as well.

  • Please take a look at “Team” we need to get time images and biographical information etc. completed.

  • Right now, I am hoping to open the site next week. One thing is for sure, we will need to open it at the same time as we put up the first real video on YouTube.

ALL OF THE ACTIVELY TO BE REVIEWED, RESEARCHED ETC. information is below. Each section or topic is linked to the associated page.

Please let me know if this is an effective way to organize or not, definitely let me know your ideas for improvement.

The following is what I have so far for training video topics. And they are roughly in the order I think we should produce them. Definitely, want your thoughts!

  1. DT 101 - Why Disaster Track?

DisasterTrack elevator pitch:

What is on the website right now:

DisasterTrack is a platform designed to help you document your property before and after catastrophe strikes.

We help people recover from disasters by providing them with a way to document their property as it is before a disaster and then update the information if they have a disaster.

We help people recover from disasters.

Our mission: Helping people recover from disaster.

Description of the company:

DisasterTrack is a company that helps people recover from disasters by allowing them to document their property before they have a disaster and in the event of their become a disaster survivor, they can document their damages and we report those damages to the government disaster assistance authorities.

DisasterTrack tackles one of the biggest friction points in disaster recovery: closing the evidence gap between what survivors owned and the proof required by agencies like FEMA, SBA Disaster Assistance, or private insurers.

List of things no particular order maybe good or bad ideas that have come up:

  • Are than any people you can think of that have DVC or SBA experience that we would want to be in the program?

  • Any former DVC/SBA folks who would be likely to say nice things about us that we could put on a page in the About section - effectively they would be references Ahmed, Earl, Ryan, Tim, George, former folks that have left in the last couple of years - pretty sure Marilyn wouldn’t be a good choice? (pretty sure we might not want folks that are actively employed - not sure if they wouldn’t be negatively impacted by being in anyway associated with DT).

  • SME’s - do we want to use this as a designation for people as they gain expertise? Pretty much a government/military thing.

  • DT uniform shirts - DisasterTrack shirts. For me to use and other folks who represent the company in the future. Theoretically, they would all work when deployed in the field. So something like the high tech water wicking fabric (summer) and a warmer heavier cloth (winter). I am thinking black with the DisasterTrack (on the shirt Disaster white and Track orange)

  • Merchandise - stuff people can buy, caps, pullover shirts, short and long sleeve button ups (winter and summer versions), vests, jackets, gloves, different types of outdoor (winter and summer versions) hats, overalls, knee high “flood” boots.
