Substantial damage to a number of residences had been caused by falling trees and landslides to home owners, renters, small communities (private bridge and road access) and of course to the public infrastructure.

Major issues for me:

1. Extremely short period of time offered for the local cities and the county to determine what the actual damages were.

2. An interest in CalOES to move along and get the PDA done and after the second closely timed heavy winds and rain, to skip the entire process.
